A country is rebuilt the way a house is built: one block at a time, with method, rigor and solidarity. Expert, entrepreneur, academic, diaspora professional or engaged citizen: your contribution matters.

N ap bati Ayiti (we are building Haiti)
Blòk pa Blòk (“block by block”) is a citizens' movement of ideas and projects. Our ambition: to turn ideas into concrete, costed and feasible projects that serve Haiti's development.
We bring together Haitians and friends of Haiti, at home and in the diaspora, who refuse fatalism and believe that skills, analysis and collective action can produce lasting solutions.
We are organized around the Social Contract, our central project, which brings together the pillars of the nation: the Haitian State, the diaspora and the private business sector. Every project is documented, critically analyzed and accompanied by scenarios, budgets and roadmaps.
“Haiti will not be rebuilt by one man or one gesture, but by the patient sum of many skills and many wills.”
By joining Blòk pa Blòk, you are not just signing up to a project: you are laying a block in the building of a renewed nation.
