Independent citizens' movementHere's how you know

A citizens' website, not a government website
Blòk pa Blòk is a citizens' movement of ideas and projects for Haiti. This is not an official website of the Haitian State.

Official texts prevail
The Social Contract is a guiding pact. The laws and decrees in force are those published in Le Moniteur, Haiti's official gazette.

Draft organic laws

The texts that turn the principles of the Social Contract into rules of law: autonomy, a fixed mandate, a budget of their own and a duty to account.

Example: fighting corruption

An anti-corruption chain that no longer depends on the executive

Today the ULCC investigates, but it remains an administrative body under government supervision. When an investigation targets a sitting minister, the executive can shut it down. The three draft laws below make each link in the chain autonomous and connect the investigation to the trial.
